As i mentioned in my previous blog entry, after Sicily we went to few spots closer to our hometown. In September 2023 we visited Kamenne Vrata. Its a small climbing crag near Omsenie and Trencianske Teplice, fairly accessible from nearby village. We went again with Michal as he is somewhat of my climbing sensei as I like to call him. Both our lovely girlfriends tagged along as our climbing partners. Four of us were joined by Michal cute dog Luna.
This was climbing/camping trip near the crag. As the climbing was very good the camping conditions here were quite opposite. We probably spent too much time climbing and not that much time looking for good place to lay camp. As Michal and Sima found the spot the sun was almost set and the dark suddenly absorbed the forest. We ate some food and talked for a while and went sleep on maybe the most uneven terrain I have ever slept on. I was not a camping person beforehand maybe slept in tent few times in my life but I have enjoyed it very much. Woke up feeling +50 years old, ate some oatmeal and started fire for the lunch as we planned to eat some sausages and bacon.
